Napoleon's 1805 Campaign : Overview

We sought to refight the actions of Napoleon's Austerlitz Campaign of 1805. The opening phase, "The Maneuver of Ulm", highlighted the actions of Wertingen, Gunzburg, Haslach-Jungingen, and Elchingen. This phase concluded with the surrender of Mack's army at Ulm on October 20, 1805.

The second phase, "Advance to Brno" found the French pursuing the remnants of the Austrian Army and encounters the Russians east of the Enns River. Actions highlighted include Amstetten, Mariazell, Dürnstein, and Schöngrabern.

The final phase, "The Three Emperors" covers the battle of Austerlitz itself. Each posted action includes a brief historical account, detailed orders of battle, Commander's initial orders, tabletop map, and after action report.
